Ans : [Source : wikipidia.org]
A data center or datacenter (or datacentre) is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and security devices.

My explanation
Data centre is a place where group of servers placed on single location to manage clients in an easy manner to see all issues of hardware are handled by professional set of technical team.
So virtually no hosting provider will have physical access to his hosting server unless he runs a data server ![]()
So how these Providers handle their server from remote location? the answer is simple like cpanel for clients they have their own remote softwares which even as the ability to reboot the server.
The main advantage of datacentre is that it reduces the over all cost of hardware management, powersupply and human resource.
Now its enough of explaining this term, lets see some datacentre discussions on this section to know more about it.
