Umaga Passes away and update on Funeral plans by WWE
WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing. Mr. Fatu was under contract with WWE at various time periods and most recently performed under the name “Umaga.” Mr. Fatu’s contract was terminated on June 11, 2009.

Dr Death Steve Williams Passes Away At Age 49
“Dr. Death” Steve Williams lost his battle with cancer last night, passing away at the age of 49.
He had been battling throat cancer for a number of years, first apparently beating it in 2005. It came back this year and his health had worsened in recent months.
WWE Champion John Cena vs Sheamus for WWE TLC PPV next month
On Raw, Sheamus won the first-ever Breakthrough Battle Royal to earn a title match against WWE Champion John Cena at next month’s WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view. Sheamus will be taking on Cena in a Tables Match.

Christian cage Jeff Hardy storyline – involving Jeff fiancee acident
New storyline devised involving Jeff Hardy and his fiancée Beth will be inserted into this Friday’s edition of SmackDown. WWE is doing an angle where Hardy and his fiancée are injured in a hit-and-run auto accident in the WWE Champion’s hometown of Cameron, North Carolina. Christian Cage will likely be revealed as the perpetrator when the time comes to be. Jeff will be okay, but his fiancée will apparently be seriously injured in the storyline. The angle is a bit surprising as Hardy’s fiancée has always wanted to be out of the spotlight.
Bret Hart Hitman talks about working with WWE
Bret Hart, the legendary wrestler and author of the fantastic book Hitman joined John Kline for a 25-minute interview on Elevation Radio Friday night. Joining Kline live from the island paradise of Hawaii with birds chirping in the background and sunshine raining down, Bret spoke about many topics including the process he used to recall information for his book, his experiences as a young wrestler in hostile Puerto Rico, his fantastic in-ring chemistry with the likes of Curt Hennig, the Undertaker and Steve Austin, his current relationship with Vince McMahon, his thoughts on today’s WWE product, and whether he would ever be willing to talk to Shawn Michaels again.

ndependent WWE sources have confirmed reports of the company releasing a DVD on “Macho Man” Randy Savage. According to sources, the three-disc DVD set will not feature a documentary on Savage as it will simply be a collection of matches featuring the wrestling legend. Brock Lesnar Health Update – Hole In His Intestine and his MMA Future looks in Jeopardy
UFC President Dana White spoke to Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday and provided yet another update on Brock Lesnar’s health status. While it was reported earlier this week that Lesnar was suffering from a bacterial infection in his intestines, it turns out he actually had a hole in his intestine and has not been 100% for an entire year. John Cena Considers retirement from WWE
Cena also addressed concerns that he’ll pull a Dwayne Johnson and leave the wrestling industry if his movie career takes off.
“They should all worry because of what people before me have done. I can say it until I’m blue in the face that I’m not going anywhere; I’ll still be on Monday Night Raw. As much as I say it, everyone will worry. I will be the first to be successful on the big screen and keep my dedication to the loyal fans of WWE.”
WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio plans retirement
In a recent interview with the Houston Chronicle to promote Sunday’s WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio revealed that he’s entering the final stage of his storied career. When asked whether it’s harder to move around at age 35 than it was at age 25, Mysterio responded, “It is without a doubt. I don’t know if it’s age or the years I’ve been doing it, but it has definitely taken a toll on my body.”

Among the wrestlers, there was an immediate negative reaction on TNA parting ways with Petey Williams, who the company decided to let go last week. There was resentment in the cut as Williams was seen as guy who always worked hard and never did anything wrong, while other wrestlers who don’t give it their all and are often causing trouble aren’t going to be let go.

Undertaker returns
CM Punk poses over the body of Jeff Hardy and a gong sounds and the lights go out. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as the gong sounds again and the lights come up. The Undertaker comes up through the bottom of the ring and grabs CM Punk by the throat. The Undertaker delivers a huge choke slam and poses in the middle of the ring.
